Garrick Ohlsson (born April 3, 1948 in New York) is an American classical music pianist.

Ohlsson was the first American to win first prize in the International Frédéric Chopin Piano Competition, in 1970. He also won first prize at the Busoni Competition in Italy and the Montreal Piano Competition in Canada. Ohlsson was awarded the Avery Fisher Prize in 1994 and received the 1998 University Musical Society Distinguished Artist Award in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Ohlsson began his studies at the age of eight at the Westchester Conservatory of Music in White Plains and, at the age of 13, began studying at the Juilliard School. His musical development has been influenced in completely different ways by a succession of distinguished teachers, most notably Claudio Arrau, Olga Barabini, Tom Lishman, Sascha Gorodnitzki, Rosina Lhévinne and Irma Wolpe. Ohlsson is noted for his masterful performances of the works of Mozart, Beethoven, and Schubert, as well as the Romantic repertoire.

Ronald Bertram Smith (3 January 1922 – 27 May 2004) was an English classical pianist, composer and teacher, born in London. He entered the Royal Academy of Music at the age of 16 with the Sir Michael Costa Scholarship for composition, after leaving the academy he studied privately in Paris with Marguerite Long, while also taking an external BMus degree from Durham University.[1] He was a champion of piano works from the romantic period; most notably those of Charles-Valentin Alkan, of whom he also wrote a biography. Several CDs of his playing are available, most notably those of Alkan's works and of Frédéric Chopin's Études Opp. 10 and 25. He taught the piano for many years at The King's School, Canterbury.

Smith died in Saltwood.

Cécile Ousset (born 23 January 1936) is a French pianist.

Cécile was born in Tarbes, France, and gave her first recital at the age of five, subsequently studying at the Paris Conservatoire with Marcel Ciampi (who had formerly taught Yaltah and Hephzibah Menuhin) where, aged only fourteen, she was awarded first prize in the piano graduation class of 1950. She has won major prizes in numerous international competitions including the Marguerite Long-Jacques Thibaud in Geneva, the 4th prize in the Queen Elisabeth Music Competition in Belgium (in 1956, when other contestants included Vladimir Ashkenazy who won the 1st prize, John Browning, Lazar Berman, Tamás Vásáry and Peter Frankl), the Busoni and the Van Cliburn.

Cécile has always had a great interest and love for teaching and coaching young talent. This has resulted in many Master Classes in the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia and the Far East. Participation in her annual Master class sessions, held since 1984 in the beautiful medieval village of Puycelsi in south-west France, are eagerly sought after. She is a frequent adjudicator for major competitions such as Van Cliburn, Rubinstein, Leeds and Bremen. She is particularly noted for her recordings of Ravel, Chopin, Liszt, Rachmaninoff and Debussy.

In December 2006, Ousset retired from public performance due to health problems related to her back.

EMI的那套集中了很多奥尔森的肖邦录音，要我就选这套了。
奥尔森也是肖邦大赛的冠军，出身不错，听过两张，觉得挺好

对于资深乐迷，只好选EMI那套了。因为鲁宾斯坦、波里尼等早就买全了，而奥尔森的录音却很少见。

报告楼主，在您的广告诱惑下没忍住，买了DG的那套，到手后仔细端详了半天，感觉真的很不错，制作在环保装里算是比较优秀的了。翻出我原来的皮尔斯夜曲正价版与套内的做了AB比较，说实在的，就咱家这双肉耳朵还真听不出明显的差异。协奏曲换了新版，录音极佳，我是比较看重录音的，以为一个好的录音可以使优秀的演绎锦上添花。下面还想再收一套EMI的尝尝鲜，SONY那套也不错，就是鲁宾斯坦的重的较多，有些犹豫。

我想问下，环球那套肖邦的环保装，里面装碟子的纸套，是白色半透明的，还是印有图片、文字的彩色的？
另外说明书里面附有关于肖邦的解说吗？

回答:装碟子的纸袋是白色不透明的，背面印有曲目名称。说明书里面有关于肖邦的文字，还不少。另有肖邦生平年表。咱家的E文水平太差，看不太明白，分别还有德文和法文介绍，就更看不懂了。其中歌曲的歌词未附，但提供DG官方网站的下载地址。回答完毕。

到JPC看了下，DG的49.99欧，SONY的EUR 46,99，EMI的EUR 27,99。按最近央行的汇率中间价 9.3379估算，分别是466.80元，438.74元，261.36元。若再加上邮寄费，应该差不多。总比多数商家报出的680元好多了。EMI那套淘宝上普遍报430元，差距更大。

JPC邮费13.99欧元，折合人民币131.44（一件和多件都这个数目）。

所以，从批量代购处购买，不应超过530元，也不可能少于400元。
