Castle Acoustics have gone into receivership. Apart from the worry this has brought to all who work there, this has created problems for a large number of other manufacturers for whom they used to manufacture the cabinets. As far as we can understand it, some form of buy-out is underway and Castle aim to be back in the near future as a loudspeaker brand, although it looks like they will be sub-contracting cabinet manufacture along with almost everyone else. They certainly intend to maintain supplies of the excellent Richmond 3i and 7i loudspeakers.
