I am not good at English.
In my view, Kovacevich performs the Beethoven Sonatas much fashionable. It gives audience totally different feeling than any other classical performance, such as Backhaus, Kempff and so on. On skill maybe they are at the same level. So he deserves top award of penguin guids, but not Brendel.
