Rotel head office is in Japan, factory is in China, R&D is in UK. in fact their R&D is share resource with B&W. we will find B&W match with Rotel perfertly. there is a Rotel club on the net, link is htguide.com

I haven't heard the Marantz so I can't comment on that. RB1080 is a two channels stereo amp. It's rated 200W per channels and its THX certified. For multi channels music you needs RMB1095. It's a 5 channels amp with 200W per channels. And you also need all 5 identical speakers to enjoy SACD or DVD-A.

B&W 700 line is marketed for HT. You can't compare the 800 with 700. The 804 and 803 is a lot dearer than 703. If you can afford it go for the 803. I haven't had a chance to audition the 800 plus I can't afford it at this stage. I brought a pair of 703 two months ago and enjoy every seconds of it.

向阳花,  I don't know what do you mean by "小功率功放". Rotel RB-1050 is 70w x2, RB-1070 is 130wx2, RB-1080 is 200wx2 and RB-1090 is 380wx2. I used RB1080 to power my B&W703 and I think they are perfect match.
