数字专家lexicon公司在模拟领域也能大显身手。该机最引人注目的亮点是具有7个200w/8ω声道（用户还可将邻近声道桥接起来使用）、从输入到输出采用全平衡电路和经过thx ultra认证。最吊人胃口的是它那温暖而亲切的lexicon声音与似乎是无限的动态结合在一起，即使将它的音量开得很小，声音也从容不迫，毫无压抑和厌倦的感觉。
LX-7则是一台纯粹的7声道功率放大器，从大型的环型变压器，7组独立的插卡式放大模块，全平衡设计，每组输出达200W，足以满足家庭重播之用，而且其中4个声道可以两两桥接达400W×2（8Ω），则可对应更大的听音面积与更难推动的音箱，LX-7总电源贮备功率达1875W，对于家庭影院放大器，也是一个了不起的数字。
