Madog hing, sorry, I am afreid that I could not 100% agree with you. By my personal point of view, the reasons of why people here wouldn't like to discuss Accuphase are,
- Most of the persons here prefer Europe and US hi-fi gears than Japanese ones, even they have to agree that Accuphase is also a high quality pros.
- Limited by current economic situattion, most of local audiophiles are unable to spend too much for a sets of Hi-End gears, even everybody is dreaming to have one.
- Regarding to recent China History during the Second World War, a lot of people hate Japanese, that's true, therefore, people wouldn't like to see, to listen, to experiencing any Japanese gears. To my strange, in the mean time, most of people are using Japanese DC...
Based upon the above, I think what Shanghaiman want to do is not too bad, at least, timing, only timing can prove everything. |

This is a hi fi forum and better not mention politic as hatred do not make
things better.
I personally think that to evaluate audio system has 2 issues. One is emotional that you may tune the tone colour you like or just like audiophiles has their own preference to choose speaker system that in tonal quality
between brand names, quite different tone colour. Logical analyses is another issue that a system should preserve as much original signal as
possible.
Looking at othe guys' post, some of them are very subjective but without
substantial reasons (no explanation why he think that particular equipment
is good but just like it.
This is no good for everyone as we cannot learn from each other but just telling people this is good without any good reason.
Some of the guys in this forum would attack those audiophiles that is not
like himself. This is no good also.
While we hope to progress by discussion matters here, this sort of
subjective saying would make me think, " Hey, you are selling some
equipments because you are paid to do so"
To gain real progress, one should open their HEART, and open their
MIND.
This post is not for you but to all guys browsing.
