It counts on the distant of the jet. Most of people staying at
home cannot feel great impact of the jet engin while they are
taking off and the sound energy is not that great.

But if you live very close to the airport, then the impact would
be great.

Sound barrier happens when the jet flies up to the speed of the
sound (speed will change with atmospheric presure and
temperature), then it will produce sound blast.
There is no implication of sound blast could apply into audio,
but even  any speaker cannot produce nicely the sound
pressure of the jet engine. Save you time.

I can tell you one fact that in Heathrow Airport, London,
whenever the Concord take off on the runway, most of the
cars in the parking lot nearby, was stimulated by the roaring power of the jet engine and start to sing like a symphony.
But other jets would do the same. It's quite amazing
