现在都是24/192的了.1年前,刚开始的时候,发行的是24/92版本.

DAC1 Tells the Truth
Transparent D/A conversion from Benchmark

All digitally recorded music must sooner or later be converted to analog for playback, whether it's through a DAW sound card or a consumer CD player. But no matter how well recorded the digital source is, inaccurate D/A converters just muddy up the signal on playback through analog monitors. An audio mixer who can't hear what's really going on in the recorded material will only make things worse while trying to improve the sound.

In the past couple of years, high-quality D/A converters have become more affordable, and one of the best of the current crop is Benchmark Media Systems' DAC1. Since its release last year, the DAC1's reputation has grown steadily among engineers and audiophiles -- mostly by word of mouth. Benchmark used its expertise in producing high-end broadcast devices (distribution amplifiers, mic preamps and converters) to design the DAC1. The result is an exceptionally smooth and transparent two-channel converter retailing for $975 that can hold its own against devices costing thousands of dollars more.

The DAC1 is a sleek half-rack sized device with a black satin finish, capable of handling digital input signals up to 24-bit/192kHz sampling. The most prominent feature of the front panel is a large round gain control for setting the levels of two 1/4-inch headphone jacks mounted beside it. The gain control has 41 detented position, which makes it easier to find and keep settings, and it is imprinted with a red dot for marking levels. (The first units were shipped without detent controls, but they were later added.) The HPA-2 headphone amps built into the DAC1 are first-rate, and Benchmark also markets them as standalone units.

By default, the gain control also adjusts the levels of the balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA analog outputs. But you can also control the outputs via a pair of 10-turn trimmers on the rear panel, which is very handy if you want to establish a standard listening reference volume. To do this, there's a rear-panel switch that you can set to Variable or Calibrated. When you flip the switch to Calibrated, the output is controlled by the trimmers; in Variable mode, the main gain control sets the output level. To compare playback on different monitor systems, you need to unplug the cables and repatch -- or employ an external router.

Weiss的特点是温厚却不失解析

完成度一样很高的DAC

在家用市场并不多见....因为长相不够Hi-End的关系(不够美)

不过这是见人见智的东西

当然分辨率往上比是比不上DCS的955

不过......Weiss在国外pro studio Eng.的眼中是和Manley,Focusrite同等声音级数的东西

以上所言为同行前辈所言之大略

关键在于调声吧,国产机器用料很猛,但声音却不怎么样。

我用Silver sonic D-75 同轴 和 MIT 的光纤都试过,觉得同轴好一点, 因我的转盘没有平衡输出,准备下次试一下, 各位大大还有没有什么好的同轴介绍?不要太贵噢...

Features: Inputs:
There are three digital inputs on XLR connectors, and one on Toslink (optical). The accepted sampling frequencies are 44.1, 48, 88.2 and 96kHz. AES/EBU signals on a single connector are used. Each XLR input is actively routed to a corresponding XLR digital output, allowing monitoring at multiple stages in a digital studio setup.

Synchronization:
Several signal reclocking schemes are combined for extremely high jitter attenuation, making the DAC1 virtually immune to jitter over a very wide bandwidth.

Converters:
The correlation technique (using two converters per channel) which was already successfully employed in the ADC1 gives the DAC1 an edge over other D/A converters with equal wordlength and sampling rate specifications, resulting in improved SNR and THD.

Outputs:
The discrete Class A outputs have a virtually zero Ohm output impedance, but still can drive large loads without stability problems. Output levels can be set between -infinity and +27dBu. The outputs are symmetrical, but do not have any sound degrading servo mechanisms built in. For asymmetrical operation only one leg of the XLR connector (plus ground) is used.

Remote:
By hooking up an analog potentiometer or fader to the remote connector, the output level can be remote controlled. This level control happens in the digital domain. The input source selection can also be remote controlled.
