Sansui's first silicon transistor integrated amplifier. This product ended twenty some years of the tube tradition, and started the glorious solid state amplifier era. Although AU-111 might have stated the tradition of black front panel, the next ten years of elegant black and silver design was originated on this model.
The internal physical design was still very resembled to that of tube amplifiers. There was not even slightest hit of massive power transformers and heat sinks yet although the power supply system looked very impressive.
