其实，我也是经过N次比较选择才有此说法的，总的说来，我还是较为理智，不人云亦云。

我已订了TUENBERRY，尚未到手，还望尧天舜日兄到时多多指教，共同切磋。

同意，我没有听过西四民，只听过它家的土星和六系列，和您的感觉一样，声音自然，温润，非常耐听，它吸引人的地方是音乐，而不是音响。单拿的风格也倍受烧友推崇，只是太挑公房，如米不够，其实德国金榜值得一玩，同单拿的风格相近，但极为好推。

The way that DynaXXXXX is focus on their woofer. It uses a very large
cap to hold tight the cone. this is a good point to prevent cone
breakdown that eventually induce distortion. Such a theory is same as
long time ago, some speaker manufacturers used aluminum cone, very
stiff and hard,

Both large cap and hard cone or the early carbon fiber cone ( now is
better on carbon fiber ) have a draw back or compramise that is the bass
when produce, become much shorter because the large cap in front of
the cone tightly restricts the cone to vibrate according to the music.
It gives the listeners a short of quick and fast response bass.

In a way it is a good point but in the high end, we want to hear everything
coming our exactly the same as the software.

For example, if the bass duration would exrend to half a second, if for any
reason, the cone was controlled and be highly damped, the bass may
be only last for a quarter of a second.

However, if you have a lousy amplifier that cannot control the speaker
drive movement ( no damping ) then the DynaXXXXX would be a better
choice.

If you have a good amplifer and drive the DynaXXXX, then it will be a
waste of extended bass duration. What a pity  !!!!

Back to the Tannoy, the designers would let free the cone with suitabl
damping, matching with a good amplifier, there will be music and the bass
would reproduce the same way as the software.
